Labbrand Presents at the Food and Beverage Innovation Forum on Packaging Design in the F&B Sector

SHANGHAI, May 3, 2016 – Labbrand CEO Vladimir Djurovic was invited to speak at the Third Food & Beverage Innovation Forum held in Shanghai on April 20-22. Addressing an audience of leading marketing professionals, design specialists and senior thought leaders, Mr. Djurovic shared insights on building brand awareness through packaging design.

The Food and Beverage Innovation Forum is the most influential FMCG conference in the Asia-Pacific, gathering more than 400 senior executives from leading companies like Mars, Pepsico, and Mondelēz. The forum is dedicated to assist industry decision makers in foreseeing future trends and promoting positive development by sharing valuable showcases and technology.

In his session “Packaging Design for F&B Brands: Challenges You May Not Expect”, Mr. Djurovic provided attendees with key actionable takeaways for foreign FMCG brands penetrating the Chinese market. In particular, he discussed the importance of having a localized brand identity and packaging to enhance brand differentiation in the face of the current economic slowdown.

“It is essential to make brand thinking the cornerstone when designing brands and packaging in Food and Beverage packaged goods category. This creates winning solutions and opportunities in a market where technological innovation in marketing and distribution has leveled the playing field,” said Mr. Djurovic.
