Bridging Continents: A Day of Exchange with Sorbonne University’s Future Innovators Overview

Last month, our Shanghai office had the pleasure of welcoming a cohort of Master’s students from Sorbonne University’s IMCDS (Master in Innovation Management, Communication and Data Science) program. Traveling all the way from France, these talented students arrived full of passion, curiosity, and incredible energy.

While Anabelle started by introducing them to the agency’s frameworks, the presentation quickly evolved into a dynamic exchange on the landscape of global branding which involved:

  • The uses of artificial intelligence in the naming process supporting the human creativity while having to manouver around legal constraints for trademark,
  • The role of consumer insights in crafting aspirational brand universes, and sensorial experiences,
  • The shifting image of Chinese brands, moving from manufacturers and product centred brands to innovators redefining consumer expectations.

At Labbrand, we deeply cherish these moments to connect with the next generation of global talent. With China remaining at the center of global brand transformations, we look forward to hosting more learning expeditions in the future.
