In order to have effective and relevant market communication prior to the product launch, a Chinese name is needed for China market for the usage of all channels of communication.
 

We undertook the Land Rover Chinese brand naming project, resulting in the creation of the Chinese brand name 星脉 for the Range Rover Velar. 星脉, inspired by astronomical themes, conveys a sense of exploration and mystery, aligning with VELAR’s Spanish meaning of ‘secret amidst secret.’ This name encapsulates the essence of a ‘vibe of stars,’ symbolizing vigor, fascination, mystery, and expansiveness. Harmonizing with the Chinese name of Evoque, it mirrors Land Rover’s design and technology heritage. The name seamlessly integrates within the Range Rover family, upholding the brand’s pioneering spirit.
