It is our great pleasure to announce the release of the next LABReport, our quarterly publication dedicated to branding in China and beyond. In each issue we bring together thought leaders from around the company to share perspectives on the innovative processes of branding. Our analysis alternates between five lenses in line with our specialties: research, strategy, naming, design, and digital.
The world in 2017 is more intertwined than ever. Digital innovations stretching from Shenzhen to Silicon Valley are opening new and exciting ways for brands to grow. Domestic brands infused with cultural knowledge and a local understanding offer an alternative to the global premium brands.
The topic we pose for this March LABReport concerns 18 percent of the world’s population: The Rising Chinese Consumer. Regardless of a brand’s point of origin, in the coming years it will be essential to understand, design for, and deliver brand innovations to this audience in order to become a truly global brand.
