Labbrand Wins at the Transform Awards Asia Pacific 2019

Shanghai, November 27th, 2019—Labbrand is honored to have won 2 Silver and 1 Bronze prizes, and 3 Highly Commended projects at the 2019 Transform Awards Asia Pacific. Established in 2009, the Transform Awards is a celebration of the indispensable talent that exists within the branding sphere. This year, the awards made its debut in Shanghai, the city where Labbrand was founded.

Silver Award

Client: Magimix

Category: Best Localisation of an International Brand

Labbrand worked closely with Magimix to create its brand and product name, as well as its essential visual language style guide. This encompassed the definition of Magimix and the Cook Expert color system standards, lifestyle photography image style and restrictions for applications in China.

Client: BE-KIND

Category: Best Naming Strategy 

Labbrand came together with the BE-KIND team on the creation of an official Chinese brand name 缤善 [bīn shàn] to firmly build its brand presence. The Chinese name not only matches with the many flavors and playful packaging of BE-KIND’s snack bars, it also serves as the brand’s call-to-action to perform daily acts of kindness.

Bronze Award

Client: The Coca-Cola Company

Category: Best Use of Packaging 

Labbrand helped The Coca-Cola Company to develop the Coca-Cola aluminum bottles to be sold at key tourism spots within Shanghai. We coupled the distinctive and unique elements of the megacity with imagery related to both classic and modern depictions of Shanghai, to craft a new approach to Coca-Cola packaging. The product has yet to hit the market in the near future.
