Opel set to use new logo to refresh its image in consumers’ minds

Opel, the well famous German automobile brand, is set to update its current Logo accompanying the launch of the Insignia, the brand’s latest sedan which will inaugurate a series of new cars conceived with fresh design and a renewed commitment to quality.

The updated emblem bears “Opel” engraved on a wider border compared to the former one. Its symbolic bolt in the centre will remain unchanged but the overall logo look and feel will look more polished so to arouse a strong feeling of quality and high class.
The story of Opel’s Logo dates back to 1930s, when its symbol - the zeppelin - represented the height of technological advancement. Nowadays, the new logo will still partly carry its emblematic image in order to make the brand heritage meet the company desire to update the brand’s reputation and appearance.
