On 28th November, GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies has announced the launch of its first China localized product – the supersonic flow meter “Aquatrans TM AF878” , which is also GE’s first product following the launch of the ICFC (In China, For China) program.
As part of the ICFC, GE, one of the world’s biggest multinationals, has invested 15 million U.S. dollars to research and develop products meeting the needs of the Chinese market.
And November has been a busy month for GE China. In fact, beside the launch of Aquatrans, on the 19th of this month, GE has celebrated the expansion of its facilities in Wuxi. Partnering with GE’s China Technology Center in Shanghai, the enlarged factory is devoted to manufacture and assemble products that meet the unique requirements for China and support China’s need for cost-effective, environmentally conscience technologies.
